PASHA Insurance is currently seeking an IT Governance Expert.

Job Description

The IT Governance Expert is responsible for establishing and maintaining the governance tools, processes, and frameworks that ensure IT delivers value, operates efficiently, and complies with multiple regulatory requirements. This role is critical for:

• Designing and implementing IT governance frameworks, policies, procedures and guidelines that align IT services with business strategy.
• Building performance management and reporting mechanisms to increase transparency, efficiency, and accountability in IT operations.
• Ensuring compliance with diverse regulations and standards (e.g., data protection, cybersecurity, financial services, industry-specific mandates).
• Providing governance structures that enable consistent decision-making, effective risk management, and optimized use of IT resources.

By creating a structured approach to IT governance, this role strengthens regulatory compliance, improves IT performance, and ensures IT contributes measurable value to the organization.

Education and Specialization

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT Management, Business Administration with IT focus, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in IT governance, risk management, compliance, or IT service management.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing governance frameworks, policies, and reporting tools.
• Experience with regulatory compliance in areas such as data protection, cybersecurity, or financial/industry standards.
• Demonstrated ability to work with senior stakeholders, auditors, and regulators.

Certificates

• COBIT 2019 Foundation (or higher).
• ITIL 4 Foundation / Managing Professional.
• CGEIT (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT).
• CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor).
• PMP / PRINCE2 (Project Management).

Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, ISO/IEC 38500).
• Solid understanding of IT operations, risk, compliance, and audit practices.
• Analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture patterns and TOGAF framework – preferred.
